Privacy Policy

TROPR is a community app for tracking, discovering, and reviewing romance books. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

• Account information — your email address and the sign-in method you choose.
• Profile content — display name, avatar, reader type, themes, and anything else you add to your profile.
• Content you create — reviews, ratings, shelves, posts, confessions, comments, book clubs, and direct messages.
• Subscription information — if you buy premium, our payment processor handles your card details and tells us your subscription status. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data — basic log and device information needed to run and secure the service.

• To create your account and show your profile and content to other users.
• To generate recommendations, search results, and personalized features.
• To operate premium subscriptions and referral rewards.
• To keep the community safe and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your profile, reviews, posts, confessions, comments, and shelf activity are public inside the app. Direct messages are visible to you and the person you message. Some profile items, such as Book Crushes, can be hidden from your public profile in Settings.

We use third parties to run TROPR: a cloud database and authentication provider, a payment processor for subscriptions, an email provider for account emails, and an AI provider that powers voice search and recommendation features. They only receive what they need to provide those services.

• Edit or delete your profile details, reviews, posts, and comments at any time.
• Request a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account by emailing support@troprapp.com. We respond within 30 days.
• Cancel your subscription at any time from Settings.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data on our Request Account Deletion page.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Contact us and we will honour them.

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal content, except where we must keep records for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

TROPR contains adult romance content and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has an account, email us and we will remove it.
